My name is Nadia Tijerina and I am currently a senior at The University of Olivet studying Media Production & Communication specializing in Sports Media. I’ve loved sports my whole life, I grew up watching sports every day with my parents, and it’s always been something that brings me comfort and energy. That passion is what pushed me toward the sports industry, and now I’m working toward a career in sports marketing. I’m really interested in opportunities with organizations like the NFL, NCAA, and NBA where I can learn, grow, and help create content and experiences that connect with fans the same way the game connected with me.

I decided to create "Lets Talk Portal" because of my family overall experience with the portal. It can be very complicated with new rules and changes it has and I think it is important for every athlete to understand the opportunities that the portal can bring. I wanted to create a platforms that gives athletes and parents of athletes an easy way to understand the portal and how to navigate it. Also, help educate about the PROs and CONS of the portal, and hear from athletes who actually experience the portal themselves.
